Our client is well established Irish Educational Institution that provides education and training courses in the medical field. With a big network inside and outside Ireland, they are looking for a Creative e-Learning Designer to join their team in Dublin, initially for a programme-based 6 to 12 month contract.
As an e-Learning Designer, you will be supporting different Academic units in ensuring the delivery of quality distance education using the latest technologies. The role will have strong focus on Web, graphic design, and video technologies. The purpose of the position, is to enhance the students’ distance learning experience.
On a daily basis, you will be acting as a Subject Matter Expert in the design, creation and reformatting of learning material. You will be working closely with Instructional Designers, IT teams and Academic units, designing the creative look & feel of the e-learning content, finding innovating ways of learning and making enhancements on user experience, interaction and navigation.
You will act as a Project Leader when required and liaise with different stakeholders and resources inside and outside the project team. You will also provide training to staff as required and keep up-to-date with e-learning technology and platform developments.
We are looking for people with excellent communication skills and able to work with a variety of audiences. The ideal candidate will have strong visual and creative design skills. Team worker, open to help and be helped, while also able to work independently and able to make recommendations and improvements on existing material. You will be passionate about all things visual, with focus on e-learning experience and usability design.
At least 2-3 years’ e-learning design experience in professional or academic environment, and LMS use (including Moodle).
Solid experience in creating storyboards and user flows, familiar with common e-learning standards and formats (HTML, SCORM, etc.)
€280-380 hourly rate.
Our client is based in Dublin City Centre.
The programme will start in September/October 2017.
